
AirTrain Newark Replacement MWSDBE and SDVOB Training & Capacity Building Program
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is providing a training program that better positions and prepares local M/W/BE and S/D/VOB to compete on the AirTrain Newark Replacement Program and Port Authority projects. The AirTrain Newark Replacement Program is a $2-billion new elevated guideway system that will link terminals, parking areas, the airport Rail Link station and a new consolidated rental car facility.
The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, Integrity Compliance Consulting and the Rutgers Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development have developed a training program to prepare and position M/W/BE and S/D/VOBs to compete for prime and subcontractor opportunities on the AirTrain Newark Replacement Program and other Port Authority projects. In order to receive this certificate participants must:
- Attend all training sessions
- Attend all office hours with instructors
